Elementary School

Calvary Christian Academy Elementary School is dedicated to education of the whole student. Our academic program focuses on building the framework for the establishment of a well-rounded student that seek to become closer to the Lord.  Each student is assisted with his/her spiritual, intellectual, physical and psychological growth, by the loving and dedicated faculty of CCA. The Academy’s Elementary Department uses the Abeka and Saxon Math curricula, which incorporates the principles of Science, English, History and Math. In addition to these core base curricula, the department also offers specialty courses in Music, Technology and French.

At Calvary, students are encouraged not only to excel for greatness, but also to develop a spirituality, and intellectual prowess that will guide and order their footsteps through out the rest of their lives. Moreover, it is our core belief that students should be encouraged to cooperate with each other rather than compete sharing their special gifts and talents.

Calvary Christian Academy is an entity of the Greater Mt. Calvary Holy Church and as such does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, national or ethic origin.  Parents and teachers have the power to determine and control a student attitude toward his or her school and classroom environment.  Therefore, it is crucial that parents and teachers commit themselves to work closely together.

Calvary Christian uses Abeka  which provides curriculum and textbooks that concentrate on instilling Christian values and  education to Christian Schools.  Abeka  provides the foundations for building character, integrity, excellence and biblical foundations for building Kingdom Kids.

Each child,  grades K
-8,  is assigned a homeroom  where they study and learn about the wonders of God's living and non-living world. Students are encouraged to pursue  excellence in their core subjects such as language, mathematics, science and social studies to further bring glory to God and to challenge themselves. In addition to their core courses, all students take specialty classes which include music, physical education, French, and computer lab. The frequency and length of special classes vary according to the age of the children.

Calvary Christian Academy is licensed by the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA); and a member of the Oral Roberts Educational Fellowship located in Tulsa, OK.
